Tara Ocean Foundation

The Tara Ocean Foundation, the first recognized public interest foundation in France dedicated to the world’s oceans, organizes voyages to study and understand the impact of climate change and the ecological crisis facing the world's oceans. 'We use high-level scientific expertise to raise awareness and educate young people, mobilize policy makers at the highest level, and enable emerging and developing countries to access the latest knowledge about the Ocean. ' In addition, the Tara Ocean Foundation partners with many French and international groups as advocates for policies on climate, biodiversity and plastic pollution. Since 2015, as Special UN Observer, the foundation has been supporting the important decisions to be taken in favour of the ocean in the eyes of leaders and encouraging them to maintain ambitious objectives.
