The Network, also known as the French Antilles Sharks Network, involves many associations, stakeholders in the sea, volunteers, scientists, managers of natural areas and State bodies. Their aim is 'to preserve and conserve the elasmobranch [sharks and rays] populations' of the area and their habitats, and to inform and educate the public about these marine creatures.
