Global Ocean

Global Ocean is dedicated to the conservation of marine life, by heightening public awareness about the plight of the seas, providing educational resources and raising funds for conservation programmes. Their projects educate and raise awareness about the importance of healthy oceans for sustaining life and positively engage the public and encourage stewardship of our blue planet. In particular, they draw attention to the dangers of plastic pollution in our oceans. They develop and deliver free educational workshops and resources for schools and the public around the world. Similarly, their India branch has a primary focus on raising awareness about plastic pollution through education, outreach and workshops, currently working in the state of Kerala. Their UAE branch focuses on conserving native Elasmobranch species and implementing their plastic pollution education programme.
