Description

SeaWatch was founded in 1993 by a small group of Americans and Mexicans concerned with the destruction of fisheries in the Sea of Cortes by illegal fishing. Since then they have achieved the prohibition of the use of compressed air for any fish extraction in all Mexico’s ocean waters. SeaWatch works with a local supporters group ROC (Red de Observadores Duidadanos) to stop illegal fishing in the Bay of La Paz and to stimulate the recovery of fish in the area .
