Description

SaveNature.org works to protect coral reefs through its 'Adopt a Reef Program' to raise funds for the conservation of threatened and endangered coral reefs and their surrounding marine ecosystems around the world; specific reefs: Palau in Micronesia, and Parque Nacional Del Este in Dominican Republic. Their Adopt a Reef program is only one aspect of their work which covers the preservation of fragile ecosystems in general through creating awareness via education and direct participation projects. They work closely with schools, universities, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, natural history museums, and science centers worldwide, as well as corporations and businesses, to achieve their aim of protecting the diversity of life in fragile ecosystems.
