Description
Oceaneye studies, maps and raises awareness about marine microplastic pollution worldwide. The organisation does so thanks to a growing network of volunteer sailboats, as part of our citizen science programme, which collect samples during their navigation. Oceaneye's open source data is shared with international bodies for policy- and decision making: the European Commission, UNEP, G20 and IUCN.
