Description
The Plett Stranding network is, as implied by its name, a network of organizations (such as Orca Foundation, NSRI) and qualified individuals working together for stranded marine creatures. Co-ordinated by Dr Gwen Penry and established to attend incidents of stranded marine mammals in order to collect important scientific information and, where possible, attempt a rescue. The network has grown to include other marine life that may need assistance, especially marine birds. Contact Plett Stranding Network: 079 463 4837 to report marine mammals ashore, dead or alive
