In addition to the extensive research projects they conduct with their associated Cook Islands Whale Research, CCRC raises public awareness of marine conservation issues, especially those concerning cetaceans, through a variety of means, including education, outreach programmes, communication media, publications, and volunteer opportunities and internships.
