Forkani is a community organization on Kaledupa Island, Wakatobi Regency that was to achieve sovereignty over the management of coastal natural resources based on local wisdom. Forkani organizes and builds the capacity of community groups, encouraging the community to be able to manage their natural resources sustainably without ignoring the values ​​that exist in society. This includes good seaweed cultivation, environmentally friendly fishing, marine surveillance, conservation credit, building a fish bank, and octopus fisheries management.
