Conservation International Brazil is part of a global organization that works to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. They have a presence in Brazil and have worked on marine conservation initiatives in the country, including the aim expand Brazil's marine and coastal protected areas, while creating ways to make artisanal fisheries more sustainable. This is achieved by encouraging monitoring and inclusion of coastal ecosystems in environmental policies and promoting better fishing practices.
